Faith in Chronic Illness
I think that one of the things that has helped not only me, but many out there, through the difficult trying times, whether chronically ill or not, is religion. And especially when the trials are sore, especially when people don’t understand, having faith in God helps you through those times.
People draw strength through their religion. It helps us to know that things can be better, and that there’s more than this life out there.
I’m one that believes in a hereafter and that our decisions affect where we go when we die. Continue reading
Comments Towards the Chronically Ill
“You look well.”
Sometimes I wonder whatever happened to people using the phrase, “How do you feel today?” Seriously? Isn’t that the point of the phrase, so that, instead of assuming, you can actually find out? It’s a wonder how our society turned out.

What Is the Average Life of the Chronically Ill Like?
(Please note that all these things are based on personal experience and observation of others like me)
So what do people who are chronically Ill go through? What are their daily lives like? Well, unfortunately, there is no direct answer. You see, everyone is at varying levels of health, and everyone has a different capacity to do. And there are simply those that can’t do at all.
Why There Is No Average
As stated before, everyone is at different levels. And it’s not just that. If you were to categories things that people do, you would probably find that what one person can do, another can’t, and vice versa. I know people who can hold a job, for example. That doesn’t mean they don’t get drained.
That said, I can go by experience of what my life is like. And you will find that there are similarities to others. And please understand that everyone goes through different things, so they will have differences to what I go through. Continue reading
